Rudolf Klement was among the most devoted organizers of the international Trotskyist movement during the 1930s. A trusted secretary and collaborator of Leon Trotsky, he helped prepare the founding of the Fourth International before his 1938 assassination in Paris, widely attributed to Stalinist agents during the Great Purges.
